RealNetworks has announced its new Harmony technology, which allows purchased music to be played on many digital music players, including the iPod. The technology supports translating between Apple FairPlay, Windows Media and RealNetworks' DRM systems. With Harmony, the RealPlayer Music Store supports over 70 devices. A beta version of RealPlayer 10.5 with Harmony can be downloaded from Real's Web site.

I wonder if it can convert protected iTunes AACs in to mp3 or wma? It can still keep the protection for all I care, I own my music. But I'd like to be able to use one of the dozen music servers out there that connect to your stereo to play my music. Airport Express is cool but it has no interface. You have to control everything from your computer. :\
