ok Now this is more like it, ive been dealing with cross plateforms for a while now and can tell you all that its completly rediculous to bash any one (1) system, ive had exp. with BEos, Linux, and PC's and have recently been playing around with Macs - Every single OS has a flaw in it self meaning that yes there are problems with macs but also PC's and Linux Boxes and the rest, "Yes Mac's are very expensive" its a drawback but you can get them (older models) very cheap now on Ebay, "PC's have all the software" and this is true BUT with all the software comes all the viruses and worms, "Linux is true networking" but try and install apps for it and one could get lost.

so for anyone to say Mac's suck well thats just closing your eyes to advancement - I Love them all Iam a True Diehard Geek be it Sun, Apple, Or IBM Ill take em all. because they all offer something.

And yes Microsoft is truly evil But I still use a PC, so Please cant we all just get along and live together.

Macs suck!! In our library at school, they crash every 5 secs!!

It's true. They really really suck.

My friend on my uni course just got one of those Powerbook G4s with wide-screen. Sure it looks good, but MacOSX is oversimplistic for a Winodws user. One mouse button?!

He just uses it as a very expensive portable jukebox (the sound is good) and DVD player. Just imagine the Windows desktop machi9ne he could have got with the same money????!!

Whoever setup the Mac's in your library didn't know what they were doing! Whether you're a Mac lover, Unix lover, Windows lover or whatever lover, if you don't know what you're doing, then the implementation will "suck!"

Just to add another log on the fire......

Mac OS X is by far one of most stable and functional OS's on the market... I use OS X, Windows XP and GNU/Linux(Gentoo) all equally. I have found that OS X is not simplistic, it just works. Yes there is a nice candy coating on top.

oh people please.. not another BORiNG discussion between Mac & PC. The truth is (and there is no escaping this) that Macintosh are the leaders when it comes to the Graphic industry, very few *serieus* desktop publishers will use a PC for their needs. Having used mac for quite a few years in the industry, I really must say that the Macintosh is a really stable system (but that can vary ofcourse depending on wich sysadmin u have) when used properly. And no, i don't use Mac anymore so there's no gain for me here whatsoever.

Macintosh is no longer leading in the graphics industry actually. They are losing that battle. Also macs are way too expensive, the program market for them sucks...And yes I have extensively used the macintosh, I HATE the direction they are going with there desktop, they can never make up there minds what programs are going to be included on there systems..Will it be IE, will it be Mozilla...Will it be Opera. So they finally made up there minds which we browser will be bundled...that is great!!! Being as it is 2003!!!!!. Macintosh sucks, and just because a few voices speak out for a failing company, millions are there to speak out against it. Mac has been near bankruptcy dozens of times and were even bailed out by Big Bill himself. The numbers speak for themselves, that is one thing that NO ONE can deny, not even the most hardcore of Mac Users. Poll one hundred people on the OS of their choice and you might get 3 that say mac. The lamest thing mac has done yet was in turning there system into a candy coated flavor of BSD to try to suck in the Nix fans. You can't trick us apple...we have seen your track record...and the imac.....Macs will never achieve the broad userbase that Windows and Linux have achieved. TRASHINTOSS. And plus we all know the old theory..PC users are geeks, Mac users are geeks without intelligence.
