Apple on Wednesday released a new beta of its Boot Camp software, which enables Intel-based Macs to dual-boot Windows and Mac OS X. Version 1.4 Beta introduces a number of new features, including support for Apple's backlit keyboards, and the Apple Remote.
The company is further polishing the software before it arrives as a built-in option for Mac OS X "Leopard," due to be released in October. Other minor updates in Boot Camp 1.4 Beta include updated graphics drivers, a new driver installer, localization fixes, improved international keyboard support, and better help.
now does anyone know how to extract the drivers from the dmg, while in windows?
Dont want to install mac os just to get updated drivers....?

|so does this mean the apple remote will now work in Media Center?
Here's an interesting question. I know that FrontRow does not offer a PVR. This is really the most useful feature of MCE. Is there a TV tuner available for Mac, that will work when booted to XP or Vista?

|Using an Apple Remote
If your computer is equipped with a built-in infrared receiver, you can use an Apple
Remote to control iTunes and Windows Media Player (not included with Boot Camp
Beta). The remote lets you change the sound volume, start or pause playback, and skip
to the next or previous item. You can also use the remote to open iTunes in Windows.
To open iTunes using an Apple Remote:
m Press the Menu button.
If iTunes is already open, you can press the Menu button to bring iTunes to the front.
