It would be based on Las Vegas with gambling in the middle of the desert and all that. Maybe you would be able to work your way up to running a casino or something. But before that, you could go in different casinos and gamble. And then make a desert kind of like how they did the beach in Vice City, and make missions where you go out there to do gangster stuff, like where you have to take people out there and kill them and put them in holes, you know, like in the movie Casino. Maybe a few more golf cart missions too, since there are alot of golf courses in Las Vegas. Hell maybe you should be able to play golf in the game. Anyways, I think all that would be kickass for a new GTA.

As for other features that might be nice to add, maybe people that walk dogs around and stuff, and if you try to jump the person the dog would bite you or something. Someone said police motorcycles too, I love that idea. I also would like to see you be able to tell some of your guys what to do, when you're higher in the game, like maybe go have them collect your money so you don't have to run all over the place. I had alot more but I can't think of them right now.

I think that the San Andreas would be a great Idea, but I think they should make it Online capable, because then you could have the regular console version of the game, and then you could have the online version of the game in one package. You could have gangs that you are a part of, and you could have gang wars, and terf wars, and you could use the "phones" on the game to call people to help you when you are in trouble, travel together, and kill other people from all around the world. If they were to make this game an online game, with the features I have just described, I can assure all people around the world, that this will be a Megahit unparalleled by any other game in history...

Ok, the first thing I would like to say is that im a programer for XBOX, and the facts are that both systems have almost identical graphics. Second, the difference in hardware isnt that the XBOX's is better, its that the XBOX's hard ware is not the same as the PS2s, the XBOX has a hard drive that reduces loadtime and lag, giving the illusian that it is better, when that can easyly be equaled by a minnor upgrade of the PS2, just as some of the XBOX's flaws can fixed whith a simple upgrade.

**P.S. if any other programers for SanAndreas read this, bring up the idea of POLICE MOTORCYCLES & SUVS, there can also be other law enforcement than just the police, fbi, and army, such as SHERIF, and HIGHWAY PATROL, and keep the colors for the emergency vechels, POLICE red&blue Ambulance Red&white Fire Truck red&yellow. Also keep the bright look to the city, the darkness of GTA3 made it anywhere from hard to almost impossible to see at night.**

From a technical standpoint, the Xbox's hardware is defiantly superior with or without the hdd. Everything from the CPU to the ram is twice as much or more in speed and size. Those are "the facts" and not an opinion.

PS2 has a 150MHz "Graphics Synthesizer" and the Xbox has a 233MHz nvidia XGPU. In addition to 32MB rambus memory where the Xbox has twice as much with 200MHz DDR ram. The PS2 can do between 60 to 40 million polygons a second compared to 100+ million on the Xbox. Also, the PS2's cpu is 300MHz compared to a 733MHz chip in the Xbox and of course the Xbox includes a NIC and hard drive. As you can see, hardware wise, the Xbox is far superior and does make quite a significant difference contrary to just a "little".

I would imagine it's the same as GTA3, in that although it's a Sony exclusive, it's only a "Sony exclusive" for a limited amount of time. Eventually the PC port will appear, and then finally the "console exclusive" status expires and it ends up on all platforms.

I am such a big GTA fan that I once bought a PS2 on eBay just so I could play Vice City. (It wasn't available for PC yet at the time). I couldn't get used to the controller, it seemed really complex, and harder than hell to use. When Vice City came out on PC I got rid of the PS2.

This is hardly a blow for the Xbox. Rockstarts contract to deal exclusively with Sony ends Decemeber 2004, so a couple months after this game comes out there will be a Xbox version with improved graphics.

I hate to tell you PS2 gamers but it is fact that the XBOX is better. While I agree with you I think that GTA and VC look like s*** on all platforms. The XBOX however has better hardware in it which is allowing the game developers to develop better looking, better playing, faster loading games. Alright...sometimes name calling (while it doesn't have to be vulgar) is nessecary to get a point across. Comparing the X-box to the Ps2 is like comparing a brand new PC with a 1996 PC. You can't do it. Mainly, technoligically, the X-box is a better system. But by the avaliability, uniqueness, and amount of work/games being done for the system, Ps2 reigns supreme. Also, take notice that the X-box came out what...a year and a half after the Ps2? Buy a PC, wait a year and a half later, and notice the diffrence. Ok, so now that we have the technology aspect aside and agree that the XBOX is better from that standpoint lets address the fact that there is less games for the XBOX. Like you said, the XBOX came out almost a year after the PS2 so of course there will be less games for it, and also because the PS2 had previous versions it has legacy games you can still play on it. However, there are now over 500 games out for the XBOX with increasing amounts of titles released every month. And due to the technology being better in the XBOX the games that are being released for it are simply superior to the games for the PS2. We'll just have to wait to see what round two of this battle will determine when the new versions of these consoles come out.

I think this contract with sony sucks. Gta was first released on the PC. I would like to see GTA on PC and on PS2...I dont see the PC as a direct competitor to the PS so I dont any reason to make PC owner wait 8 month to play the game...(plus the game didnt really improve form the PS2 during this period) And I certainly wont buy a PS2 to play this title... In the end PC user just have to wait and b**** =)

Of course it will look better on a PC. The hardware is much better. All though I can make an arguement that when hooking up the XBOX to my 52" HDTV that the graphics are quite comparable in the games that offer HD compatibility. But you are correct the PC just has more hardware options which allows it to reign in the graphics dept.

As for the controller being better on the PS2, I agreed at first and almost did not buy an XBOX due to the controller issue. But there are now different styles that you can buy such as the "S" style which are far smaller than the big clunkly original the XBOX ships with. As for the game selection you PS2 owners do have an edge but hello there are over 500 games out for the XBOX with a slew of games released every month. Both complaints are drastically dwindling.

Like I said before though we will have to wait till the next rev. levels of these consoles to see where the sepration will come into play.
