the ipod invented the market. Zune is entering a market that the Ipod built.

You seriously cannot compare a device that has been out for 5 years to a brand new device and expect everyone to go buy one, if that were the case the Iphone is doing terribly, Mac OSX is doing terribly and any other new items that have come out are doing terribly because they have had little time to showcase their product. Fact is, only way to track "faulty" units is if they are repaired under warranty. What was it with PS2? 1 year? Any failures after 1 year are the responsibility of the owner and not tracked. All it shows up as for Sony is another sale.

In any case, it proves that those Xboxes that are used properly, are manufactured well, and can stand test of time and use.

As a side note, I would rather play Halo 3 than Killzone 2 ( luckily I also own PS3s, so dont have 2 chose one or the other ). And as far as games are concerned, Halo is a killer App. Killzone is a stop-gap.

I do not own a 360, but if they can get the issue fixed and perhaps incorp the HD-DVD as the main drive into it, I would consider one.

There is no fix, right, they are going to keep fixing it for free over and over that makes good busniess sense. They will get the problem resolved once and for all.

The warranty is a gaurantee for the fix, if and when it needs it ( within three ( 3 ) years of purchase.

The warranty simply claims that MS will fix the XBox, should it need fixing, and pay for it in its entirety, for up to ( 3 ) years after the purchase date ( and is recursive as well ).

I repeat again, the warranty is NOT a fix, a fix is recieved if needed, and gauranteed BY the warranty.

If it could not be fixed, it would be then subject to a recall.

Since this has not happaned, then a fix can be achieved, and will be applied under warranty.

All expense paid.

Sorry about getting technical with the words, but i believe it is the lack of rigid definitions that has confused some people, and allowed others ( such as fanboys / girls ) to play with the words and make it play into their fannoy/girl camp of choice.

So I guess you just think of the game you want to join and it joins you to it? Come on - you can GET to it from home, doesn't mean you don't have to select the game and such. This is no different from how it CURRENTLY works on 360. I can get invited, join and do pretty much anything from anywhere on my 360.

Looks uglier than when Moore was showing it, has some neat quirks, and I like the two controllers in the background alot better.
