I wonder how the MS folks will feel about being paid $7.25/hr, and having to wear a funny blue vest? :)

Anti-Compitition would mean that the walmart guy was going to another company IN THE SAME INDUSTRY which is retail for walmart. The google guy, was attempting to work in the same industry that Microsoft has.

And this is the 2nd exec of WalMart to jump ship in the last few months, if they were truthfully doing that great they wouldnt leave. Something is about to happen at wallyworld I personally think scandal.

Since Wal-Mart sells PC's, maybe they could argue--well maybe that is a stretch...

wal-marts biggest interest is the american market, not the chinese, so why would this be an issue ? after all microsoft as well as wal-mart are pure all american yes ? good for bussiness....

Wal-Mart is interested in many markets...they are in Mexico, Britain, China, Germany and other countries. In fact, their big push for the coming year is to greatly expand their number of stores opening in China.

LOL after this he can't work in retail(walmart competitors)...& any IT could be considered an MS competitor.... Male Prostitute will be the only realistic alternative left...

I worked for three years in the Information Systems Division of the Wal-Mart Corporate offices in Bentonville, AR and I know we had serious anti-competition and conflict of interest agreements for employees. This could get interesting!

Well, retail, marketing, PR have always been MS weaknesses... this guy should be able to help them...

Wal-Mart is the largest retail store in the world and continues to rake in billions. So I think Microsoft is pretty smart to bring on a Wal-Mart executive.
