I think MS should have made an Xbox 360 Elite with the HD-DVD built in. I hate having to buy add-ons and then the ugly thing is taking up space.

I think if anything MS should make a combo HD-DVD /Blueray drive for the 360. I still think thats the way its going to end up in the end. Neither Blueray or HD-DVD will win, they'll just merge the technologies.

It was inevitable, no studio support for HD-DVD (aside from Universal who are funded by Toshiba to support it)..

its good that they are .. now supporting full 1080p its not like that should have been supported from a hd add-on from the beginning.

That article is misleading, because they have been supporting 1080p ever since it came out.

Use the XBox 360 HD DVD add-on with a decent & recent PC and all those supposed 'limitations' disappear.

1080p with Dolby HD sound etc etc via HDMI 1.3a if you're graphics card is recent enough.
