Ring Tone Tops Coldplay for #1 in UK

According to the Offical UK Charts Co., a cell phone ring tone is set to make history as the first song for mobile phones to crossover into the mainstream charts. "Crazy Frog Axel F", which is based on the sound of a revving Swedish moped, looks as if it will replace the new Oasis track "Lyla" as the new number one song in the UK.
Crazy Frog beat out Coldplay, who had hoped to go straight to number one with their new song "Speed of Sound." It was widely expected that, based on sales alone, the ring tone would edge out the popular British band. Crazy Frog, which is based on a decade-old song by 17 year-old Daniel Malmedahl, has received massive exposure and sold well in 5,600 retail locations from where the chart bases its figures.
Jamster (verisign) should be banned from operating immediately with regard to their ringtones. Here in the U.K. they are ripping people off for fortunes everyday! Their advertising is aimed particularly at kids and what they do not tell you in the T.V. adverts, is that once you get that bloody "crazy frog" ringtone (or one of their other ones) they will continue sending further ringtones and deduct the money automatically from your phones credit.
It is not easy to find out how to stop these coming and there are many reports, that even when you contact them, they continue to send more.
I hate that bloody "crazy frog" and I would like to throttle "Nessie the dragon".
They are rip off merchants, so you cannot say you have not been warned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to stick some pointed, piece of rust covered stick up its a** and tell it to "ding ding, now you irritating little prat!"
Finally, to all those who have paid for the ringtones from Jamster, - go and get a life and instead of following on like sheep, go out and make something of your life!

|This is the same crazy frog, operated by the same Jamster club, owned by the same Verisign, that got done in the States a couple of weeks back for bad advertising.
It should be banned immediately!

|Which demonstrates how low we've sunk in popular culture. This can't possibly be as annoying as GEICO though, whose proliferation of inane and insufferablly lame commercials are probably now at the same level as dangerous, toxic waste.

|That is the most annoying add I've seen... It managed to beat that STUPID blue telephone from Lombard Direct (which was on my top hate list for 4 years).
Why do the media in Britain think they must upset and antagonise people in order to be seen? Clearly this is what the guy that did this stupid frog was trying to.

Even if 10,000 people complain about it, I don't think there is enough ground to remove it. There is no law against stupidity or lack of taste.

|That frog is quickly becoming one of the most annoying TV ads of all time. Every time I hear that damned 'ding, ding' I want to switch off.

|I think i might move from the UK just to get away from the frog

|I remember someone saying, 'Coldplay and Keane sharing a stage? The mediocrity will crash planes.'
That really does round them off quite nicely.

|Whilst coldplay is pretty bad itself, that Crazy Frog is even worse.
Proof itself that the UK is being overrun by chavs.
