'Tiger' Already a Top Seller at Amazon

Ahead of its expected public release in mid-April, Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" is already a #1 seller at Amazon.com. Amazon is offering a $35.00 mail-in rebate for the $129.99 Tiger retail box, bringing the final cost down to $94.99. Windows XP Home, meanwhile, currently sits at #16 on Amazon's software chart.
Tiger promises several enhancements to Apple's flagship operating system, including an upgrade to Safari that supports RSS; Dashboard, which allows easier access to news and information through small applications called widgets; and an upgrade to QuickTime.
Windows XP Home is now at #18. I think it is funny that "learn to Play Chess with Fritz and Chesster", a kids' game, is higher (#16) then windows.

|I think XP's ranking is amazing considering it was released in 2001. That ranking doesn't consider the rabid piracy that exists. In addition to "Home" there is a "pro" and "media center" edition.

|Why would windows xp be a top seller on Amazon, it comes with all new computers, do you honestly think people will buy windows xp if it came with there computer?

|Now you should ask yourself... "Do you honestly think people would buy Windows XP if it didn't already come installed on their computer?

joo are a n00b! I bet you've never even opened a pc in your life! Anybody who builds/mods computers has to "buy" a copy of win xp pro, so they can use on it more than one system.
I cant wait for 10.4, I'm hoping to buy a Mac Mini with it soon, and run Windows XP in VirtualPC ^.^
