Verizon on Thursday announced the availability of Novatel Wireless' V740 ExpressCard for EV-DO wireless networks, which brings support for Revision A. Verizon recently began rolling out the faster Rev. A technology across its wireless broadband network.
The V740 card, which works in ExpressCard capable notebooks such as Apple's MacBook line, will run $179.99 USD with a two-year contract and $229.99 USD with a one-year contract. EV-DO Revision A promises average download speeds of 600 kilobits per second to 1.4 megabits, and average upload speeds of 500 to 800 kbps.
http://3gstore.com is offering the V740 for only $109.99 with a 2 year contract! In addition, if you place a preorder for Verizon's Rev A Expresscard, you can also get 50% off the price of a booster antenna!

|why bother with this? just get Sprint Sero plan for $30/month, and you get free internet for your laptop too. Yes it's EVDO.

|The "unlimited" plan is not "unlimited" either. They have an invisible 5GG/month cap that will cause you to get terminated.

|Hmm I don't find this to be true, I have used 7-10GB several months and have had no issues or charges for it. I have had my account now for 2 years.

|which means now you'll hit your 40BM monthly cap in half the time! of course there's an "unlimited*" usage plan as well, but why even bother with 40MB/month in the 1st place? most ppl will use that in half a business week

|Huh? You can use upwards of 5 gigabytes, not 40MB.
