Anyways getting back to what we're SUPPOSE TO BE COMMENTING ABOUT, I agree that 2 months delay to fix one stupid error that has a naked butt on it is a bit harsh and/or dumb.

It'd really stink to be the developer if the pic was of HIM showing his butt, because, well, it's kind of easy to figure out who that is if they needed. I mean, come on they have him red handed ... or bare-assed as the case may be ;P

Also lets get something straight the whole "hot coffee" incident was a full fledged mini game in a bigger game based on street violence performing sexual acts and actually getting scored on how well you do. How can they compare that to a "partial nudity" in a cut scene for this game? I just don't get it.

Thanks for the interpretation, but it sounds to me like he is. People are so hard up on putting America down, how can you not take that as a cheap shot? The majority of Americans are against the war in Iraq. It sounds to me like that's what he is referring to -- the war. He doesn't say "Killing thousands in a game."

He depicts a number which resembles that of the Iraqi war, he doesn't say "in a game", and how is it NOT okay to kill thousands -in a game- when it's JUST A GAME? When I was in my early teens or even slightly younger, I remember seeing topless scenes on TV on many movies after 9 or 10pm. And this was on regular public channels over the air.

Who cares? I don't get why people say crap like "the Americans" this and "the Europeans" that. This is whole fregin countrys we are talking about. You probably couldn't find a group of people within the same block that could be generalized and you sure as hell can't do it for a whole country. Maybe the line would've more accurately represented America's mentality if it had've been more like:

I find it funny that everyone rips America yet people are flooding in like never before to get thier piece of the American dream. If it really sucked that bad they wouldn't be coming in droves. America is great I would live no other place in the world.

I see it that groups tend to rally more when they are against something. These groups will get much more attention then the groups that are for an other cause. It seems that if the media can turn something into a three ring circuis that is just what they will do. The bottom line is people that support a cause don't take to the streets like a group that is opposed to something. I sope that helps. Sorry for the confusion.

I would imagine a dev put it in to encourage a fix for that bug, but apparently it never was fixed AND someone forgot to remove the picture. This is why such things shouldn't be checked into source, even if it's planned to be removed.

Don't get me wrong, the last thing I want to see is a guy's hairy ass, but they show asses on regular TV these days, and that is rated everyone. This game is rated M17+ which should be able to show full nudity.

You can use XP's default skin as a Vista skin. Better performance and supposedly better battery life...

IMHO the primary reason they installed the patch was to prevent bad publicity that may have resulted in lower sales to younger kids. A parent who might otherwise purchase the game for their child under the age of 17 may feel less inclined to do so once they hear the word "nudity" in reference to the game.

They are not going to care if it's a "rare occurence". All the parent hears is partial nudity.
