Yahoo to Stream CBS Comedies on Web

Yahoo and CBS said Tuesday that the companies were joining forces to offer free streaming of the network's comedies "Two and a Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother" through Yahoo TV. The promotion extends from Tuesday through January 2.

A total of four episodes, two from each series, would be available through the service. CBS had previously tried streaming of a primetime television series on its own. Three episodes of the network's new series "Threshold" were made available through its Web site earlier this season.

Definitely a step in the right direction. Obviously there are bandwidth limitations, but they need to start doing more projects like this.

Apparently this is only available in select regions, I attempted to view 2 1/2 men and got an error that this service was not available in my region. (Canada)

"Two and a Half Men" is the #1 comedy right now (I think) and I highly recommend "How I Met Your Mother" for some good quality entertainment. You can't beat the episode about the c***amouse....or the lemon law for dating. Plus it has Doogie Houser (Neil Patrick Harris) who is hysterical.
