The Virtual Underground - www.thevirtualunderground.com provides links from the stations to companies' websites and can be bought for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months.
Whether you are a Bond Street devotee or more a Charing Cross fan, since its launch earlier this year the London map site has attracted over 135 companies and individuals and receives up to 10,000 hits per day.
Tom Herriott says: "Internet advertising is nothing new but the Virtual Underground allows businesses to advertise in a more unique and personal way. People may choose their particular station because their business is located there, or they live there, or perhaps because it is the most focal point on the page which means more clicks to their site!"
As well as being fun and unique in its field, the map isn't over crowded so navigation is easy.
London stations are selling fast and it won't be long before all 305 stations are sold as well as a prime location like the River Thames which will also be up for grabs. Tom plans to expand his website to feature other transport maps from around the world.
