Second Application From Big Canvas Available Through Apple's App Store
SEATTLE, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Canvas Inc., a Seattle-based technology firm, announced today that SmallCanvas, it's second visual life-logging application, is now available on the Apple App Store. Building on the popularity of its predecessor, PhotoShare, SmallCanvas, a social networking drawing application, is already among Japan's Top 10 most downloaded applications only weeks after its release.
SmallCanvas, a social networking drawing application, allows users to share their drawings and pictures with other iPhone users using PhotoShare technology.
SmallCanvas shares back-end servers with PhotoShare, a popular photo- sharing service specifically designed by Big Canvas for iPhone users. The relationship means drawings will be displayed on PhotoShare and can be viewed by thousands of PhotoShare community members. The PhotoShare community is very active and growing rapidly.
Known as "life-logging", PhotoShare users connect visually around life's simple moments allowing others to share in a private or public setting. PhotoShare is a free application for iPhone available through Apple's App Store. SmallCanvas can be downloaded on the App Store for $1.99. Used along with the PhotoShare application, SmallCanvas allows users to add personal touches to their pictures by drawing something on top of them.
Within hours of becoming available for download on Apple's App Store, several drawings and edited photos created with SmallCanvas have already been posted to PhotoShare.
