The Karcher Group Announces It Is Moving to a New Location
CANTON, Ohio, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The Karcher Group, a Canton-based Web development, marketing, and hosting firm, announces that they will be moving to a new location in February (2007). The new 6300 square foot facility is located at 5590 Lauby Road and will feature a more advanced 1100 square foot datacenter.
"Moving from our current location was a difficult decision due to all of the local support through the years. We don't view this as a move out of the area as we will remain very committed to our roots, Jackson Township and the Canton area," said Geoff Karcher, president of The Karcher Group. "Being adjacent to the Akron Canton Airport and new hotel is an ideal location. In addition, I believe that this area will continue to grow largely due to the success of the Airport."
The new facility will provide nearly 50% more office space for additional Web development, marketing and sales staff. The new 1100 square foot state- of-the-art datacenter will include fire suppression, climate control, static dissipative flooring, dedicated power feed from First Energy with generator, SBC fiber data backbone and security system with monitoring. The suite will also be equipped with a 30 person conference center for local seminars.
