Two Game Studios Join Alawar Entertainment's Stable of Internal Developers

MOSCOW, October 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Alawar Entertainment, a leading publisher of casual games, today announced the formation of two in-house development divisions resulting from newly established relationships with Russia-based Friday's Games and Ukraine-based Five-BN. Alawar has signed an agreement with each studio to create a joint venture with Alawar as the majority shareholder. As a result of these newfound partnerships, Alawar now boasts five in-house development divisions.

In 2007, Alawar began to strengthen its role as a supplier of high quality casual games for the international market with the formation of Alawar DreamDale and Alawar Stargaze. Alawar Entertainment also includes Alawar GameSTUDIO, which specializes in the creation of new game technologies.

Established in 2003, Five-BN has released several successful titles, with a project management series enjoying tremendous popularity. The star of that line of games, Maria, opens a clothing boutique in "Fashion Craze", launches a chain of beach resorts in "Beach Party Craze" and manages a pet salon in "Pet Show Craze". Alawar Five-BN plans to expand this series in the future.

A Russian company, Friday's Games entered the casual games market in March 2007 and has since released several popular titles, including the blockbuster, "Natalie Brooks: Secrets of Treasure House". The goal of the game is to help a young lady solve a series of daring crimes. Currently, Friday's Games is working on a number of projects, including a sequel to "Natalie Brooks".
