  1. Review - X-Setup Pro

    6.1 (May 30, 2001)

mrbee - xsetup is free too & does all that & more. The plugins are well organized, e.g. videocard plugins are in the hardware -> Videocard section, not much more needed than that.
& yes, it supports Windows Me just fine. Not much you can complain about really, the interface is functional, nothing more is needed though, you want the settings it offers not some fancy visuals :)

  2. Review - Netscape Navigator for Windows

    6.0 Preview Release 3 (Oct 1, 2000)

Again, this is expired, again http://zoiah.m3dzone.com has had it posted for a long time, & the newer builds too.

  3. Review - Live!Ware for Windows 2000

    3.0 (Jul 12, 2000)

No problems with it here, although by the sounds of it the "uninstall" button may be useful ;)

  6. Comment - XP Given Green Light in Europe

    1.0 Build 941 (Aug 31, 2001 - 8:51 PM)

Microsoft I think are being put under pressure for the wrong reasons. Bundling an updated, improved Windows Media Player is "not" a bad thing. If it is then should Apple not be in a similar position for bundling Quicktime with the Mac OS? Aren't they also competing unfairly again WMP & Real player.
Besides, as others said, WMP 8 cannot play real audio or quicktime files.

  7. Comment - DirectX Development Progresses, 8.1 Nears

    1.0 Build 941 (Aug 26, 2001 - 2:17 PM)

    >due to differences in design, Xbox games will run exclusively on the >upcoming platform

Call me stupid too ;) but what is that supposed to mean? If it means that XBox games won't run on the PC then that's fairly obvious, & to be expected (Or else why will many games be XBox exclusives).

  8. Comment - Microsoft, XBOX Technologies Settle Name Dispute

    1.0 Build 941 (Jun 18, 2001 - 4:49 PM)

yes, they should say "no, we don't want your money, we'd rather keep the original name, rather than just had to add a bit onto it".
Now, that would be the most incredibly stupid decision ever.

  9. Comment - GeForce3 Chipset Unveiled

    1.0 Build 941 (Mar 2, 2001 - 2:37 PM)

nVidia did "not" purchase 3dfx. They purchased 3dfx's technology/patents/name/logos. 3dfx the company still existed after the sale, but they are in the process of winding up the company itself.

It's pretty sad in a way to see how easily some idiot can take servers down. Still he has some point. People are idiots :) It's simple, if you get an email attachment thats ends with .vbs or .exe, then don't open it.
