  1. Review - Vuze for Windows

    3.0.1.6 (Jun 25, 2007)

Uses about 84 MB of RAM. But that can't be a real problem on most pc's.

For me it remains one of the best and it has a lot of options. I tested other programs like Utorrent too, and they don't use that much RAM but downloading always goes faster with Vuze/Azureus.

  2. Review - FileZilla v3 for Windows

    3.0.0 Beta 6 (Feb 19, 2007)

This is again a great program, don't forget it's beta! Features still are added.

It works perfect for me: easy setup and fast and reliable connections. Didn't have a problem with it.

Drag'n drop is back too, and that was uite important for me.

    Changes:

+ Vastly improved drag and drop support, including
+ Shell extension under Windows to allow dragging of files from FileZilla into Explorer
+ CTRL+A will select all files in currently focused file list
+ Display warning if trying to connect to SFTP server using FTP protocol
    - Fix timing issue in socket event handling, fixes transfers not starting on some systems
    - Cosmetic fixes under non-Windows platforms.

  3. Review - Outlook on the Desktop

    1.3 (Feb 18, 2007)

I got errors after launching. And the calendar didn't work. It didn't show any appontment. It only showed contacts and mails.

Edit: It works now, but only for the main calendar in Outlook. It doesn't show my 2nd Outlook calendar.

    So, I changed to 3 ***.

  4. Review - IPB Message Checker

    1.8.1 (Dec 30, 2006)

    Does exactly what it says.

The interface is very basic. But it's handy to be notificated when there are new posts/responses.

You can also specify which subforums you want to see and you can ignore certain posts so they don't appear with the new posts.

1 Negative point: when the program is checking it's like it's not responding for a few seconds.

  5. Review - Trend Micro RootkitBuster

    1.6.0.1049 Beta (Dec 26, 2006)

The scan with standard settings didn't finf anything. But when I selected to scan OS system service hooks it wanted do delete vsdatant.sys in the system32 folder.

I looked it up and it's a component from ZA, so I don't think I can safely remove those items.
