  1. Review - foobar2000

    0.9.6 (Dec 1, 2008)

Mmm, now with the auto-track of the music-library foobar doesn't find all music in my collection. It seems that it can't find music if the musicfiles are somewhere to deep in a folder structure. 3 points for this version.

Still the greatest player available, and the only option as far as I know if you're using cue-sheets and different file formats, wv, mpc etc. I'll wait and see if it's fixed with a update, or I find another solution, otherwise I'll go back to the previous version.

  2. Review - TagScanner

    5.0 Build 518 (Apr 20, 2008)

There is a new version on the website: 5.0 build 520 (04/16/2008)

    Superb tool!

  3. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    5.50 Build 1550 Beta Preview 1 (Sep 14, 2007)

Great player, and I love the new Bento Skin. I'm also getting fed up with all the wining about the memory usage of software. This is 2007, I repeat: 2007, and for just 60 euro's you can buy 2 GB of memory. And if your computer is old, don't use the latest software, or get a new one.

  4. Review - WeBuilder 2008

    7.3.0.69 (Oct 23, 2006)

No reviews yet? Now, I'm not a professional webprogrammer, not even a advanced amateur, but I love this program, it really helps me learning the ins and outs of xhtml and most of all css. And I haven't encountered any bugs. It has syntax highlighting, a preview screen and two different split screens and it's light. I'm very happy with it.

    Worth a try!

  5. Review - ACDSee

    9.0.55 (Sep 20, 2006)

If you're looking for something simpler then ACDsee then there are several free and very good programs like Faststone, Irfanview, XnView, GQview etc etc. Or just continue using ACDsee 3.1, whatever.
I do have reservations about the (high) pricing of ACDsee's products, especially considering the freeware competition.
But it's a very good piece of software, no doubt about that. And to be able to ask for money at all, ACDsee will have to add features and try to stay ahead of the competition. And thus the program will become more and more advanced.
Try yourself if it's worth it.
