  1. Review - Microsoft Hyper-V Server R2

    1.0 (Aug 28, 2009)

This is the only free version of Windows Server 2008 out there. It even includes the .Net Framework (core version).

Keep in mind it is only x64 (Which is not a problem for todays procs)

Steve is going to show multitasking at the next conference and declare it the best new idea he has had.

    Bets? ;)

  3. Comment - Apple's App Store hits 100K apps: News or rhetoric?

Where is all the apps that are available on the Hangango app store? Windows mobile has been around a long time and there are tons of quality applications made for it.

Unless it does HD. That would be neat.

They have a very interesting documentary out called "The Yes Men Fix the World". It is worth a watch no matter which side you are on.

They had some real neat stories in there. One of them where they talked about the Human Loss factor and what is acceptable as a keynote speaker. Some people even told them how refreshing it was to hear such honesty (even though they meant to shock people).

  6. Comment - Microsoft Q1 2010 by the numbers: Windows license sales at record levels

@Slim: I think that is what hurt Apple Zealots the most. They are always talking about "PC" instead of talking about what makes their OS and things so great.

Take Fatty for example with his Silverturd and Vista 7 remarks. Never says anything about his iCrack, his non-iLife, etc.

If he actually tried Windows 7 (he admitted he didn't in an earlier post) then he could actually comment on it being a SP to Vista. Which couldn't be further from the truth. Windows 7 has some major changes to the OS that Fatty has never looked at.
