  5. Review - VioLet Composer

Im the guy who occasionally thinks that it would be really great if I could just create some music.. ive ended up purchasing a keyboard *wich i can hardly play*.. playing around a little bit in Fruity Loops etc.

Just for the hell of it I decided to try this app :P

I clicked the pattern editor.. and clicked the play button.. everything just crashed im on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit, AMD 6000+, 4 Gb RAM.. got to use the reset button, im just glad i didnt do anything importent that wasnt saved =)

I could have done a screen shot of the error messsage.. but that would have had to be with an actual camera since nothing worked.. maybe next time.

Since I must rate it ill give it a 3 for effort lol.. no time to test functionallity right now.

  7. Comment - Apple declares war on the entire PC industry

    0.55 Alpha (Oct 22, 2009 - 2:16 AM)

silly question maybe, but how much
of personal computers are apple boxes ??

    5% ??

I just find the strong language like *declaring war* a bit over the top, when they are only a small part of the market.

Both Netscape and Internet Explorer spawned from Mosaic IIRC.

  9. Comment - Armistice Day for the format war: Toshiba signs on with Blu-ray

    0.55 Alpha (Aug 11, 2009 - 4:00 AM)

If Toshiba could massproduce their SDXC cards and get some 256GB versions or so really cheap then perhaps less media for tv-series could be achieved.. but the question is how low price can you get on these cards..

Would be nice to just see the regular movies on 64GB SDXC cards too..

Then Toshiba could get their own format.. if they made Blu-Ray players with SDXC slots also.. dont know if its realistic to expect the memory cards to get cheap enough for this possibility, but it sure would be nice with physical movies taking less space..

  10. Comment - Microsoft to launch competitor to Pandora, Spotify

    0.55 Alpha (Jul 15, 2009 - 8:23 AM)

There is still a few tunes not to bee found on spotify, but it does find surprisingly much..

Unless you look for underground metal music.. then there is almost none to be found except the big known names.
