I agree that the new icon is crap. However the app itself is as good as ever.
Still a 5 star rating for useability.

I agree partially with you pjb, the app is growing in size although I still don't feel it's becoming bloatware yet. Like you I've used it for a couple of years and found it does a great job, not produced a coaster yet.
I still reckon it rates 5 stars not the 3 you gave it.
Like pjb says wait until after the trial period ends before purchasing as the price drops very rapidly :)
4.28.1008 Beta (Sep 2, 2009)
I can't agree with your resource hogging comments at all emanresU deriseD
For me this is probably the best anti spyware app around. And yes I have a registered pro installation.
4.27.1002 Beta (Aug 6, 2009)
A great antispyware program as long as you aren't running a 64 bit OS or Windows 7. 7 compatible versions are in the pipeline to be followed by x64 compatible.
My rating will go up to 5 stars when these versions become available.

An excellent app for cleaning out remnants of uninstalled drivers. A good alternative to DriverCleaner.NET.
@ some guy. It does what it says, no more and no less. The majority of people using this will be users who constantly try out beta graphics drivers and really do want to clean out what's left of a previous driver before a new install.
5 stars from me a great utility.

The only downside to Home Premium is that it only supports a maximum of 16GB of RAM in the x64 version.

Hopefully the extension coders will up their pace now as there are far too many extensions that don't work with this beta.

Why would anyone want to beta test these. The finl releases are dire so the betas would be even worse :(
The only Symantec product I use occasionally is Partition Magic which remains the same as the PowerQuest original :)
