It's true, though having worked for a software security company, I personally found the popups useful (because they were built-in, they were less intrusive (crashing programs, etc) than most other programs with similar functionality)
Squeaky wheel gets the grease, but if you give the customer a free can of grease with every wheel, well...

I agree with Das Mod; if someone's being intentionally inflammatory (by, say, blatantly ignoring the possibility of any point of view but their own being correct), it's best to ignore them.
Which brings up the question: Why am I writing this?

It's... A vulnerability, not a group of armed insurgents invading 'mozilla headquarters' with squirt guns full Drive-Wipe(tm).
I mean, if single vulnerabilities spelled the end of a program, windows'd have been thrown out years ago.
Opera's a fine browser (albeit one which I can never get the hang of using: one would think "point, click, type in URL", but somehow the aesthetic is missing), and your paradoxically smug "but we take no joy" comment only detracts from its fine impression.

Doing anything at all means you 'assume' something, and furthermore that comment was obviously made to reference wordplay, i.e. 'slow', noting that the writer finds your one-sided argument less than enlightening.
As such, he is undoubtedly not tying any assumption from your chosen username to the subject matter at hand in anything but jest as a more subtle way of getting across his opinion.
I, however, will freely assume that you knew all this and were merely trying to be cheekily entertaining via a system of clever witticisms.

This (Morena's Post) is spam. In other news, I'd be happier to see firefox get 30% if some other browser was also getting 30%, so that we can have more than a two-party system, as it were.
