8.3.13.0 Build 1.18.0.1 (Dec 23, 2008)
This is great because if you do already use Nero, you can do an install without all the bloat. This should be done by Nero themselves though! Pretty sad that someone else has to release it instead...if this was how Nero was officially released, it wouldn't have lost nearly as much of its popularity.
0.46.1 (Nov 11, 2008)
One of the best freeware burning programs. ImgBurn is better, but it's 'build' feature isn't as intuitive in that Nero sort of way. And I like Nero for it's cover creator, but it isn't freeware like this. For people who don't want to use ImgBurn, I'd definitely recommend this over its competitors.

Best defragger I've used as well. Read over all the features on the program's site, it will probably win you over. It makes sense. It's simple, but gets a bit more complex if you want to use different features. There are a few different gui's available, but I'd definitely recommend JkDefragGUI over the rest, which is also up on fileforum now too.
1.6.8 Beta 2 (Sep 15, 2008)
This makes installation of the included programs very simple. I would recommend at least trying to install them separately first if you are new to them, rather than always relying on a package like this, so you can at least understand a bit of what it's doing. I have been won over by the WampServer package and use that instead now; I would recommend trying that, but when I did use XAMPP I didn't have any complaints.

I can see the video now: "DEPOSITIONERS DEPOSITIONERS DEPOSITIONERS DEPOSITIONERS!"

Well, I could be wrong...I think that happened once before. But here's a link I found that has a bit of info: http://xbox360.qj.net/Ma...se-it-/pg/49/aid/122402

From what I've read, you can choose to stay with the classic interface. So the avatars and stuff would be voluntary.

I think it may be more of a natural fear of trusting CEO's of large corporations to do the fair thing for competition. Of course, it must be 'fair' if they can find a loophole in regulations or bypass them altogether.
1.6.8 Beta 2 (Sep 9, 2008 - 3:49 PM)
Haha, what a leap forward...back in my day I had to walk around playing my death metal from cassette on a dictaphone!
