I too wish FSIV had more configuration options. But keep in mind that this is a *freeware* program and as such, I'm thankful that FS offers it. It's certainly better than the built in WinXP file viewer.

@Kylde
No problems with Winamp 5.1 here with the all the playback keys working.
Anytime I install a new version of Intellitype,
I close all my running apps, uninstall the old version (in my case, v5.2), then install the new version.
When installing Winamp you have to make sure you install the Library option and check the Global Hotkeys box in your preferences once Winamp's been installed (the hotkeys are *not* enabled by default). This should enable the playback buttons on your MS keyboard. Also, if you have changed the playback keys from their defaults, you should change them back again.
Winamp's forums are of great help:

p.s. I use a Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about the drop down menus being off turned off by default. And even when when you turn them on they are place *below* the navigation bar. I find this extremely awkward. Only Netscape (not FF) does this sort of thing and from the feedback that I've seen, most abhore it. Also, you can't remove the search bar on the top right (at least I haven't figured out a way yet. Plugins are very awkward to say the least.
No thanks, MS. I'll stick with FF.

"The firm said it would not provide guidance for AMD yet as enterprise adoption of the company's chips have been rather slow."
This sounds like just another Intel PR firm making an excuse not to include AMD processors in their testing.
Also, it's still very much in the air on how DirectX v7-9 games will run on DirectX 10. If MS hoses support for anything less than v10, they will find few adopters of Vista by gamers.

I'm a very long time PC gamer. Before that I played games on an Atari 2600, Commodore 64, Coleco Adam, and Intellivision. My parents were responsible enough to oversee what my 3 brothers and I were playing. I totally oppose government regulation of video games (responsible parent(s) does not have to be an oxymoron) but not research on the effect games have. The research results should not be used to censor games but to inform parents so they can make more informed purchasing decisions for their children.
That being said, I believe the big laugh is how America RE-ELECTS a president (my bad--he was never elected the first time--he was appointed by the Supreme Court) who REALLY takes away our rights.
The same people who protest about something as trivial as video games in comparison to say, wiretapping our conversations, are mute when it comes to much greater rights issues--like the Patriot Act. Want to know more? Visit my blog: the-scrat.blogspot.com

I agree wholeheartedly with the EC on this--stick to due process of the law and do not become distracted by media hype, especially American media which favors MS. Our government is bought off by special interests, especially BIG OIL and the pharmaceutical industry.
