  1. Review - Maxthon (v2)

    2.0.1.4577 Beta 2 (Dec 23, 2006)

    amit_i3 you are very correct.
Ever since I got hooked by MyIE2 I can't get used to any other browser, and I've tried them all.

But, I must say Maxthon2, at least for now at it's beta, doesn't feel as comfortable as Maxthon.
I have them both installed but I can't leave my Maxthon 1.x.

  2. Review - SphereXP

    0.78.121 (Sep 27, 2004)

combining this idea and desktop enhancer like 3DNA Desktop together could be a real "WOW" and provide new way of working environments.

As long as they both will not take that much of resources... or else we all will need to by a 2GB RAM with DUAL P4 CPUs.

  3. Review - Maxthon (Classic) Standard

    0.8.2070 (Oct 3, 2003)

Only problem now with 2050/55/70 is that the Popup Exceptions List is no longer referrenced. Or the wildcards might have stopped working.
    Still gonna stick to it.

  4. Review - Maxthon (Classic) Standard

    0.8.2050 (Sep 30, 2003)

:-( There's a problem with multi-lingual typing on text areas and some input fields.
Seems like you have to paste from external editor to the text area inorder to get character typed correctly.
Had to go back to 0.8.2038.

I hope it will get fixed.

  5. Review - LeechGet 2009

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (Jul 26, 2002)

I give it only 4 because out of all features it includes there's one that is really a must and isn't available:
Passing rejected downloads back to the explorer. (when you get the LeechGet screen and choose you want to use the regular download of IE you just do "cancel" and it returns to IE)
    Others have it ... LeechGet doesn't :-(

And what about a temporary click catch disabler ? (a hot key that will temporary disable the click catching)

If it had one of those feature i'd give it a 5 (or even 6 our of 5).

  6. Comment - Google Upgrades Analytics Interface

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (May 8, 2007 - 4:47 PM)

    It's Wonderful !
    So detailed and so customizable.
And what's best is that it uses the Flex Technology.

So one day it could be a desktop product, using Apollo project (also of Adobe)

  7. Comment - Again, AOL Says 'Goodbye' to Trillian Users

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (Feb 15, 2002 - 8:39 AM)

Just click here and get reminded how Micrsoft was fighting AOL...

AOL lost and thus it tries it's luck on smaller groups first. Warming up before fighting the big elephant again.

  8. Comment - Again, AOL Says 'Goodbye' to Trillian Users

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (Feb 15, 2002 - 4:29 AM)

The people should say Goodbye AOL !!!!!

Who wants to use you crappy and ugly client anyway.
I think if AOL wants to continue with it's actions then eventually it will find itself with a 10 Users DB because all will leave AIM and move to MSN or Yahoo.

These action taken by AOL only indicates that this company is about to crack down and fall.
    I think I smell chapter 11.

  9. Comment - Netscape 6 PR 2 - Judgement Day

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (Aug 9, 2000 - 4:14 AM)

Had PR1 before, but since then the computer was formatted so it's for sure not the case.

  10. Comment - Netscape 6 PR 2 - Judgement Day

    1.0 RC2 Build 1340 (Aug 9, 2000 - 2:01 AM)

I've been waiting for this release for ages...
I can't wait to dump IE again.

My only concern was that it does NOT work.
I've ran the installation 3 times... I got to download the files 3 times and it successfully finished (so it seems).
But starting the "Netscape 6" or :"profile manager" gave the great
effect of the Logo showing then closing and... NOTHING !!

The process of netscape6 seems to fail to start on Windows2000 Server.

My only hope it will be better than this... soon.

They disappointed me, and I am a netscape fan.
