  1. Review - Stickies

    7.0b (Nov 10, 2009)

I love this program and it is my favourite one from among the different "post-it" note programs that I have tried. ^__^

  2. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    2.0.160.0 Beta (Feb 5, 2009)

@sturgess - Your prediction of Firefox' imminent doom is extremely amusing, but nothing more. ^__^ Firefox is here to stay. Get used to it. ^__^

As for this release, the browser is definitely showing improvement but still has the same tracking/information gathering problems as always, which is sad. Clean that problem up Google and you have a nice browser to build on...

  3. Review - Sylpheed

    2.6 Beta 1 (Sep 30, 2008)

Sweet and simple app that I love. ^__^

    Very nice indeed. ^__^

  4. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    0.2.152.1 Beta (Sep 24, 2008)

Do NOT want and do NOT need Google's version...

If you want all the good parts of this browser without any of Google's stupidity, then download the SRWare version.

    It can be found here:

    http://www.srware.net/software_srware_iron.php

The website is in German, but can easily be run through Babel Fish for the translation. Installer is in German but Iron is in English.

Iron eliminates the following Google problems: Client ID, Timestamp, Suggest, Alternate Error Pages, Error Reporting, RLZ Tracking, Google Updater, and URL Tracker. Iron also actually installs in Program Files like it should. All of the good things without any of the bad. ~__^

  5. Review - Google Chrome for Windows

    0.2.149.29 Beta (Sep 11, 2008)

Downloaded and installed it...was NOT impressed at all...UNINSTALLED it... Especially considering the privacy issue and recording of everything entered in the Omnibox browser bar... Google, people are NOT lab mice to be watched and recorded just because you are greedy for information! You want people to use your services and have faith in you, then start treating them like human beings instead of convenient test subjects to further your own goals.

That blatant disregard and lack of respect for people has led me to a decision. Cancel any Google or Google related accounts (i.e. YouTube, Blogger), sterilize my computers of anything Google or Google related, and preparations to install software to block any Google owned domains/websites. No more Google anything for me...

    Very nicely written article. ^__^

  7. Comment - Opera 10 alpha shows off new Presto rendering engine

    Loving Opera 10! ^__^

  8. Comment - Microsoft seeks 'community' help to make IE8 Standards Mode work out

    0.2.149.29 Beta (Dec 4, 2008 - 2:28 PM)

It is about time that Microsoft made Internet Explorer compliant with web standards.

I have had good experiences with IE 8 Beta 2 so far. ^__^

Hopefully IE 8 can help bury IE 6, the bane of the web...

  9. Comment - Mozilla developers readying one more beta cycle for Firefox 3.1

    0.2.149.29 Beta (Nov 26, 2008 - 7:04 PM)

You can also use the Mr. Tech Toolkit extension...helps you get extensions installed and allows you to make them compatible "version-wise" as well. ^__^

  10. Comment - Mozilla developers readying one more beta cycle for Firefox 3.1

    0.2.149.29 Beta (Nov 26, 2008 - 7:02 PM)

I am very glad that Mozilla is willing to take the extra time to do it right. ^__^

Better to have a small delay and an even better browser than to release one that is not ready...
