  1. Review - Belarc Advisor

    6.0j (Sep 26, 2003)

Been using this for years and it is truly unique and just gets better and better. Not only does it now give you virtually everything about apps installed on your PC, but the status of hot fixes, if they need to be reinstalled as well as a ton of hardware data and to top that serial numbers of a load of apps. What a great auditing and reference tool. Superb!

  2. Review - RoboForm

    5.0.7 (Jan 5, 2003)

RUN don't walk and download the ( in my humble opinion . . . lol) the best IE ADD-ON you can have. The first time I used it, I saved two hours on the net. It just gets better and better. AND it's FREE with NO SPY-WARE, AD WARE and all your PW's are encrypted in 3DES. It is stable, flexible and totally customizable. It will parse and fill in a web page before you know it has ( you can control that action). Plus you can as many "Identities" as you want for different sites to avoid spam, etc. Grab it! It really should be 6 STARS!

  3. Review - TextPad

    4.6 (Jan 3, 2003)

I have been using TextPad since 1999. In fact yesterday I found my original CD. I have never paid for an upgrade. I use it at least ten times a day. It's edit and replace capabilities are awesome. Add it's macros and clips for more languages I can even pronounce, ( I am not a techy). I also have the excellent Note-Tab Pro a fine editor, but for ease of use and simplicity, TextPad is easy to use, hangs on your explorer bar. Never crashes, and is totally adaptable with enormous user support adding to its clips, etc. My only gripe is that it's spell checker needs work, but it has libraries not only for American English, British English as well as legal and medical dictionaries. It is an essential tool for me. BTW, I do not work for or have any relationship with the developer. In fact, since I changed my email addy, I haven't even heard from them in a long time. Run don't walk to try it out. Can't wait to test the new version.

  4. Review - nVIDIA ForceWare Drivers for Windows NT

    41.09 (Jan 2, 2003)

This not a WHOL drive but a RC and is stale. It came out December 3rd. It crashed my system (XP SP1)

  5. Review - Copernic Agent Basic

    6.00 (Oct 9, 2002)

This time it is almost perfect. Interacts in OFFICE ( all versions) very nice for Word, in IE as a REAL Search engine portal. Added a lot of new engines as well as categories. Only miss one small thing. The ability to add your own search engines to a category, and or new categories.
It really is a new application and they are NOT doing in their old customers by making it a FREE upgrade. What little I have seen, the more I like it a lot. Well done.
