Anyone who would give this app a bad review is incapable of understanding what this program actually does, and is capable of. Sure it crashes sometimes and is very militant with bad videos ie bad spots etc, BUT this program is capable of playing pretty much every single video and audio format WITHOUT the need for installed codecs...Can you say convenient. In laymans terms "This is all you need to watch a movie on multi platforms". Someone mentioned "Media Player Classic" on here....comparing that program (which still uses windows media components) to this is ludacris. For video viewing, by default I use winamp5 or Windows Media Player 9, because of the lack of ATI Remote Wonder support...but if you have a slower system, this app is the fastest around....And it is constantly being updated, so eventually we will probably see the error skipping that the other players feature and no more lockups when it encounters a corrupt area of a file.

The browser is great, but the name change could no be more gay. I mean "Fire Fox" WTF kind of crap is that. It should have stayed Phoenix or Firebird. Who wants to say "My browser of choice is FIRE FOX"...it just sounds stupid. I cant wait for the next innevitable name change.

Tourist, the newbie should be using THIS...not firebird. Firebird requires much more configuration..especially with plugins and whatnot. Your statement made no sense whatsoever. Anyhow Mozilla is a great browser, but firebird is much better and faster.
10.0 Beta (Jan 8, 2004)
Using RealPlayer is like having a large metal rod inserted into your anus. This is the WORST program on the internet. It installs assloads of s*** you do not need and militantly keeps changing it's settings to stay loaded constantly, even when you specify for it do otherwise. RealNetworks should be shut down.
2.0 RC 14.3 New Year Edition (Dec 30, 2003)
Pinky, if you have had to reinstall your OS, it is not riva tuner that is the problem..the issue at hand is that you are a complete retard and should not be allowed to use a computer.
2.0 RC 14.3 New Year Edition (Feb 18, 2004 - 3:51 AM)
Look, I am by far not an M$ hater...one of you posers who wouldnt use an M$ product just because it is made by Microsoft. Firefox is hands down the best browser on the market...It is sleek, clean, fast, DOES NOT SUPPORT ACTIVEX (But there is a pulgin if for some reason you actually would want that support). It conforms to "standards", which tho annoying...is a way to finally get these shotty web developers (myself included) to conform to some sort of standard. Firefox supports a multitude of convenient plugins and its just NICE, IE is old..buggy..and UGLY anymore. I used to be an IE fanboy after netscape went to hell after the AOL s*** but Firefox is an excellent browser. Use it for a week and you will never look back. Also, Uproar.com does not fully work with Sun Java and Launch.com will not work with any Mozilla browsers...so if you are a user of these...Please email the webmasters and let them know they are losing out on a growing poulation of non IE users. For now you can download the "Open Link In IE" plugin for firefox...I find it very handy in those types of situations.

It is time to sit back and think about what the holiday's are truly about. Jack Daniels, family fighting and software.
2.0 RC 14.3 New Year Edition (Dec 11, 2003 - 2:33 AM)
"Both editions are set to include new spyware protection developed by AOL"...Does this mean it will block the instalation of AIM which in it's new betas is bundles with WILD TANGENT, which is SPYWARE. AOL makes me sick.
2.0 RC 14.3 New Year Edition (Nov 26, 2003 - 4:23 PM)
AOL has no hope...and the fact that their are betanews users that are connected right now through AOL makes me want to cry.....Seriously I am really actually shedding a tear right now. AIM is acceptable..but AOL..Eww, that is the only explanation I can give for it..Eww
2.0 RC 14.3 New Year Edition (Nov 26, 2003 - 4:21 PM)
Macintosh is no longer leading in the graphics industry actually. They are losing that battle. Also macs are way too expensive, the program market for them sucks...And yes I have extensively used the macintosh, I HATE the direction they are going with there desktop, they can never make up there minds what programs are going to be included on there systems..Will it be IE, will it be Mozilla...Will it be Opera. So they finally made up there minds which we browser will be bundled...that is great!!! Being as it is 2003!!!!!. Macintosh sucks, and just because a few voices speak out for a failing company, millions are there to speak out against it. Mac has been near bankruptcy dozens of times and were even bailed out by Big Bill himself. The numbers speak for themselves, that is one thing that NO ONE can deny, not even the most hardcore of Mac Users. Poll one hundred people on the OS of their choice and you might get 3 that say mac. The lamest thing mac has done yet was in turning there system into a candy coated flavor of BSD to try to suck in the Nix fans. You can't trick us apple...we have seen your track record...and the imac.....Macs will never achieve the broad userbase that Windows and Linux have achieved. TRASHINTOSS. And plus we all know the old theory..PC users are geeks, Mac users are geeks without intelligence.
