Does what it does very well. Just DON'T expect the same amount of power and bells-n-whistles of its big brother Backup4All. But for doinf simple backup to a ZIP file or doing what it calls "mirroring" it does the job well.
I used it to mirror some important files to another location, went well.
You DO have to config the choices JUST RIGHT tho.
Has BASIC scheduling ability.
Build 61 (Jul 29, 2008)
First, @simo4simo
YES an NTFS disk DOES get fragmented.
THIS has been PROVEN.
In fact, in the years I have worked on PC's, the EXPERTS have proven this, time and again, and yet IDIOTS still don't believe it. The ONLY file system that has little or no frgmentation is the one used by LINUX.
Second, EXCELLENT program. Works PERFECTLY.
Third, can SOMEONE at BetaNews PLEASE change the screen shot? The one shown is an old version, not the current interface.
Thank You.
1.90 (May 7, 2008)
The actual version is Version 1.99 Build 2
Released in May 2007.
@Akuma: The reason you have a "NAG" screen is one of two possibilities:
1. You downloaded the WRONG version, and got the shareware version, or
2. When the FREE version is about due for an UPGRADE it will start NAGGING. This will usually happen about the beginning of the month of the release.
My copy as stated is v1.99 build 2, and it started nagging on MAY 1st. The release of 1,99 was MAY 2007. SO, therefore that just tells me it will be updated soon.
As to the program itself, excellent program.

Great for a "simple" wallpaper changer, but I lately have come to love Adoliz Wallpaper Changer. Awesome program, great feature set. AND FREE!!!
2.2 (Mar 18, 2008)
This wallpaper changer works just wonderfully on mt machine. (WinXP SP2 AMDK6-2-450 w/ 84Mb RAM).
Works better than a couple of other I've tried, both shareware and freeware alike.
And I actually like the abilty of built in screen cap (although I use SnagIt).
I started using just recently (vers. 2.1) and I already like the control layout changes in 2.2, and it seems to run "smoother" than 2.1 as well.
I would HIGHLY recommend this one to anyone.

A question to Paul Lush... How long have you used Maxtor drives?
I have used them for MANY years, and found them to be more reliable than Western Digital or most others for that matter.
In fact the one in the machine I am using right now is OVER 10 YEARS old. And guess what?
NO PROBLEMS EVER!
In fact I mostly recommend Maxtor to my customers.

I found a program called Quintessential Player.
This program runs a boat load faster on my machine. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed winamp, but v5 looked cool, but ran dog slow.
Quintessential Player run wonderfully.
Give it a try.
