   2.5.4.975 RC2 (Aug 29, 2006)

   Although it has some excellent features, it lacks native support for the m4a format. While you can install 3rd party codecs to enable playback and transcribing to another audio format, probably the most useful feature of tag management does not work. This means that you can't take advantage of many of the features listed.
   
   I can only give this software a 2/5 because of this reason, however if it had m4a support, it would be a 4 or 5.

   Great tool for keeping a local copy of all those MS patches when you need to update a new machine.

   What a dumb closing statement. What about all of us people that have backed up our DVD collections and can now stream them from our PCs to the PS3 attached to our "big screen TVs"? This is exactly how I'm using it (along with TVersity) and it's exactly what I've been waiting for. Thanks Sony!

   This isn't a Skype related conversation, this is for corporate environments where you're integrating an IM/Meetings platform with VoIP into a PBX for large conference calls etc. Not just 1-5 small 'chats' with colleagues but 50-100 people conf calls.
   
   This is a new area for MS but something Lotus Sametime has had for years and does exceptionally well. Yes, it can already do Skype like calls from the Sametime IM client but you've been able to integrate into a PBX for years too. Schedule a meeting in Sametime, click a button and everyone invited get's a phone call.
   
   I've used Lotus Sametime for years and would recommend it fully. I don't want my company being a test bed over something MS is just getting into when there are other companies that have been doing this for years.. and have got it right years ago.
