  1. Review - IE7pro

    1.0.1 Beta 1 (Jul 19, 2007)

The on-the-fly proxy changing make this program worth a 4 at the very least. Being able to switch what proxy server i'm using without having to open up the internet options is a godsend.

  2. Review - Windows Live Messenger

    8.0.0566 Beta (Mar 22, 2006)

From what I can see from the login screen, it looks a bit cleaner.

My passport doesn't allow me to login yet. If someone can invite, I'll give it a bit more in depth review, 3 (avg) for now.

  3. Review - Microsoft Windows Defender (32-bit)

    1.0.701 Beta (Nov 21, 2005)

Still shows as 1.0.615 for me. I even uninstalled it, and then reinstalled it after attempting the 'upgrade' twice.

    Buggy

  4. Review - CyberFresco

    1.2 Beta (May 16, 2005)

A little clumsy, but not bad. I still prefer gallery and remote gallery.

  5. Review - NetServer

    0.1 Beta 4 (Apr 29, 2005)

Very good at what it's designed to do. Allows quick access to configuration and setup of all included servers.

  6. Comment - Microsoft alters server app licensing for virtualization

    0.1 Beta 4 (Aug 20, 2008 - 1:26 AM)

VI3 + Windows Datacenter = best solution for companies running alot of windows servers that don't use a bunch of power (i.e. - anything not SQL or Exchange)

roughly 5k for ESX per server, and then the datacenter license = unlimited VM's running whatever version (standard, enterprise, etc...) of windows you want.

This is also good for all those VM's that you want to run little SQL apps on (reporting services for example).

  7. Comment - Windows XP SP3 official release delayed, but download still available

    0.1 Beta 4 (Apr 30, 2008 - 2:17 AM)

    Neither is Cygwin

  8. Comment - Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1 goes live

    0.1 Beta 4 (Mar 6, 2008 - 3:59 PM)

"The people that bring their computers to the pc repair shop I work at hate it"

People that bring their computers to the pc repair shop are mad because their computer is broke. People that do not come to the pc repair shop are happy, you just don't see them.

  9. Comment - EFF argues placing files in 'Shared Folder' isn't sharing

    0.1 Beta 4 (Jan 15, 2008 - 3:58 PM)

    So ...
    1. a family member puts a file in a 'shared folder' intending to share it with other family members.
    2. a family member installs software.
    3. the software allows the world to access the 'shared folder'

    Not quite.

The music was in the 'Kazaa Shared Folder' which is entirely different than the 'Shared Folder' in Windows.

  10. Comment - Oracle Debuts its VM Virtualization Software Amid New Competition

    0.1 Beta 4 (Nov 14, 2007 - 3:13 AM)

Go ESX VI3 or go home.
