Software does make good copy. It's best feature is probably that it make a good ISO copy.
OTOH if you use a high resolution like 1280x1024 and want to use 120 dpi instead of the standard 96 dpi, the GUI is all screw up.
The other problem concern the working and temporary directory, if they are not created the program instead of offering you to create them just abort and quit.
These 2 problems have existed since version 1, I've reported them to their support on many occasion, they've acknowledged the problems, butd they still haven't fix them.

The reason we hate Microsoft is very simple: MS has always tried to dictate what we should and should not do with our PC instead of giving us tools and let us make our choice. They want to control the flow of information and how we get it.
That's why.

These numbers reflect pretty much what I see in the repair shop.

Performance dizzy_davidh. Windows 7 run a lot faster than Vista. Good reason enough to upgrade. Vista is such a hog.

XP will die eventually by attrition, but this is still way down the road. I doubt you will see a large decline before the end of support in 2014.
I'm a computer builder. I still have a large stock of XP licenses, and I sell a dozen or so every week. BTW I sold one Vista PC since it came out, 2 and half years ago. Sold around 600 new PCs with XP in the same period.
