  1. Review - VistaTweaker

    0.1 (Jul 25, 2007)

more than 90% of tweaks you can actually find in the apps they are applying to.
You just have to go to go to the options/properties within the app you want to customize.
Other than removing the "Shortcut to" prefix, the rest of this stuff I can easily do without it.

I need a tweak app to give me more than I can do myself. For example, automatic login for a certain passworded user... That would help.

  2. Review - Komodo IDE for Windows

    4.0.0 Alpha 5 (Sep 6, 2006)

    Not-so-bright-development-but-working-hard kinda piece of software.

  3. Review - Total Commander

    Couldn`t imagine life without it!

  4. Comment - Sitting out Google Wave

    6.54 (Oct 6, 2009 - 2:34 AM)

Leave it to the flocks to create a hype around the newest community site re-embodiment each year, whilst avoiding new ideas and technologies that might require them to learn something new.

  5. Comment - Can Linux manage updates and upgrades more easily than Windows?

    6.54 (Jul 16, 2009 - 8:32 PM)

    Too true.
Someone could indeed launch a tool similar to Steam, for desktop aplications, or Steam could be extended to manage more apps than just games.
They already have a great way of managing licenses and a pretty nifty online-store for apps(games).

  6. Comment - HTC Hero is the biggest Android news since 'Cupcake'

    Awesome reply.
    Completely wrong though.

  7. Comment - The Pirate Bay loss: What it could mean

    6.54 (Apr 27, 2009 - 11:00 AM)

The internet is very different from real life.
I think people will have to come up with different strategies of stopping crime, and eventually they'll settle for controlling it instead. Like legalizing marijuana and others in Amsterdam.

Don't interdict it, legalize and control it.

  8. Comment - Half of charges against Pirate Bay dropped

The p2p phenomena is not going to stop. What I'm hoping will happen, is that the actual creation of someone will not be paid CD by CD, but otherwise.
Musicians will make money by selling concert tickets, not by selling X billion CD's just because they had a one-hit-wonder. Besides, the more fans, the more tickets sold.
...haven't quite figured out the rest of the industries would work, but they'll have to figure it out themselves.
Media will flow for free, and industries will have to adapt. I'm sorry but that's what I honestly foresee.
