    I've never had an issue with Norton Internet Security. I'm using 2006 right now on two systems and the memory footprint of the various services amounts to about 80MB, which both my systems can easily handle. Boot time increase is neglegible. Uninstallation and upgrading - never had a problem. Updates are available daily. Detection is among the highest for a commercial antivirus. Firewall also blocks all pop-ups and ads from all browsers, and is configurable. I don't understand why Norton gets such a bad rap, the 2006 edition is much improved.

    For users of older video cards, I suggest staying with older drivers. As you can see from the changelog, the only improvements are for newer cards such as the 6/7 series. Don't expect any improvement on a GeForce 2.

    I can't get it to install either - the installer always hangs after I click validate on the Genuine Advantage screen (despite having a 100% legit copy of WinXP SP2 that came preinstalled on the PC). Back to Firefox/Opera for me.
