2009 (6.5.2905.372.677.325) Beta (Feb 5, 2009)
I find it to be stable, and it coexists well with Adaware, etc. It seems to be quite graceful and light on resources, for me.
I really like the ability to completely unload the resident program and service while in a safe environment for off-line game playing or music work.
2.0.160.0 Beta (Feb 4, 2009)
Give Safari a try....
I'm not an Apple boy, far from it. But, the Safari version of Webkit browser is smooth, fast, and doesn't log data like Google.
I'm sure the next versions of Chrome will include the wonderful and amazing GoogleUpdate service.....not removable, of course.
When did Google become the bad guy?!
3.5.57173.439 (Dec 4, 2008)
Gets more stable with every update.
Use the Comodo firewall with free Avira AV for a great, light, quick combination.
1.0 (Dec 2, 2008)
While it is true that you can't help support a friendly website by clicking ads you CAN'T SEE....
I can't imagine browsing without this necessary extension.
1.0.0.7 (Nov 3, 2008)
Works well and quickly for me under xp.
This is a worthwhile utility, something to keep around when you suspect something may have gotten past your protection.
Try it!
1.0.0.7 (Feb 26, 2009 - 7:01 PM)

NOW will you try openDNS ??
Did I mention I'm on TW in SoCal with no DNS issues?
1.0.0.7 (Feb 4, 2009 - 10:34 AM)
Gee, does this add GoogleUpdater to your resident services, too, like the version 5 beta of Google Earth?!
Enough of services which cannot be removed.....not even a module.....a freakin' service. No thanks.
Older versions could be outright removed or disabled.....not now.
Upon this discovery, I purged my system of Google products until some bright spark finds a work-around.
1.0.0.7 (May 21, 2008 - 9:40 PM)
It IS faster, overall, and more transparent in regular use than the last several versions....meaning to me, faster.
False positives are more scarce than in S&D, to me, though I have used both for years.
And, the service can be configured to run only on demand, and be manually turned off to liberate running processes for game playing, etc.
