  2. Review - RealPlayer for Windows

    2.0 Build 6.0.11.830 (Nov 24, 2002)

I've used the program and it's come along way from associating file types even after uninstalling it(dang icons)...now it dosen't do that anymore. The things you take care of when installing and then you get a popup telling you that there is message,With the basic ? I don't need messages. So off it went and now I'm using Quicktime player on my Windows from Apple computer (it works for Windows too!)

  3. Review - DVD Decrypter

  4. Review - Opera for Windows

    7.0 Beta 1 (Nov 13, 2002)

More better builts coming along...I prefer Java anyways ;-)
RedBadger was saying something about the "security" holes,,, you must mean the index dat file...I.E does save everything you been too...Helps to use a different Browser..i know cuz I'm using 3 others.

  5. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v2)

    0.2 (Oct 2, 2002)

Phoenix is built with only peformance in mind and it's pretty fast with the 01 version..I like it cuz I can go back at least 8 pages with the back button (Athlon with 512MB cache,Slot A) With I.E it would start loading those last 5 pages... So Phoenix goes faster.. Mind you I'm using at least 3 other browsers (MultiBrowser Bar,Crazy Browser,Phoenix,I.E) Phoenix wins in the speed Dept and will stay on this 'puter...

  6. Comment - Yahoo! Messenger Revamped for Version 6.0

    0.2 (May 2, 2004 - 11:53 AM)

Seems to have a nice interface as well as music links.... Only pet peeve is that the program that boot poeple out of yahoo chat still does it with the 6.0 version...

Yahoo is not really a good chat place ..Booters are still booting people out of chat since day one ! ..Much like AOL,at least AOL has done something since the AOL 6.0 version. Yahoo is revamped... but not improved

  7. Comment - Report: EU Prepares 497 Million Euro Fine Against Microsoft

    0.2 (Mar 24, 2004 - 12:58 PM)

"Media Player integrates with IE in a way that helps web developers play media files within IE"

This is a license to use Media player in Windows....If EU wants to use a Video Screen to play other files.. Why Not get a TV tuner ? Use other Video files? MS should have a right to use ANYTHING in IT'S BROWSER ...If One wants to use anything else,,,it's called downloading... Windows should COME with everything to make surfing, browsing,The Best Full Experience Windows-on-the-web..I hate to Go get something like codecs everytime I install WindowsXP..WHY Should I Do THAT ?

""" the EU is expected to ask Microsoft to strip Windows Media Player from Windows and open up its Windows blueprints"""

Why Are they taking out Stuff that THEY Need? Why are they buying Windows as what it is and clicked yes to agreements...and then Saying to MS "Take out this or we sue" ,,this sounds like a Request for something to be done.. rather than a recall... EU is asking for a REcall Of Windows XP because it Works too GOOD !!

  8. Comment - AOL Beta Testers Land on 'Tahiti'

    0.2 (Oct 22, 2003 - 10:34 PM)

AOL is still around and trying to provide members with the best possible online experience..Thats what it's all about,Chats, links, contests, files download, give-aways,over 20 million members sharing information. Maybe it's your provider that doesnt but you have to find all those things yourself. I even got 3 months free for being a Beta tester and would love to get my hands on the Tahiti by the last build of blue Hawaii,I was impressed and now it's merging with MS to add fav's which was manually done in the past.
