  1. Review - RealPlayer for Windows

    11.0.0.477 (Nov 7, 2008)

If this is about RealPlayer 11, why the screengrab of v10.x ?

  2. Review - ReactOS

    0.3.6 (Aug 7, 2008)

    @ oomingmak . . .
NTFS v5.2 is used in Windows Server 2003 and 64bit XP
NTFS v6.0 is used in Windows Server 2008 and Vista.

    =====

The ReactOS project may be taking a long time to reach
its ultimate goal of building a totally open source clone
of Windows, written entirely from the ground up, but
that's to be expected, given what's involved.

I believe it'll eventually be good enough for everyday use.
It may never topple Windows itself as the most widely
used OS, but it has the potential to be as stable and
useable as Windows XP is now by the time MS has
finally killed off all support for its venerable OS.

  3. Review - Mozilla Firefox for Windows (v3)

    3.0 (Jun 17, 2008)

Firefox 3 is NOT officially released yet!
Still another hour and 10 mins from now.

  4. Review - Safari for Windows

    3.1 (Mar 18, 2008)

Safari 3.1 on Windows is way too unstable for primetime.
It crashes everytime I try to open the Preferences window.

Back to the drawing board Apple.

  5. Review - GMail Drive

    1.02 (Oct 18, 2004)

So far so good. But, how long before Google but the kybosh on it?

  6. Comment - Usage share for both Windows and IE sink ever so slowly

    1.02 (May 8, 2009 - 4:20 PM)

Netscape? People are still using that? Even though
it was completely discontinued over a year ago,
and since then, is no longer supported for
    security updates and bugfixes!

  7. Comment - No surprise: 'Windows 7' will be Windows 7

    1.02 (Oct 14, 2008 - 12:36 AM)

No ... Pepsi Max (introduced in 1993) tastes better than both put together.

  8. Comment - WB network returns as Web site

    1.02 (Aug 29, 2008 - 9:29 PM)

Except the fact that it would cost the TV networks too much to acquire the rights
for streaming or downloading rights for shows internationally. If they actually did
this, the shows themselves would end up with much lower production budgets,
resulting in lower production quality and/or quantity of episode per season.

  9. Comment - New Visual C++ refresh has tools for Office, IE 'look and feel'

    1.02 (Aug 13, 2008 - 7:03 PM)

Great ... a set of tools that allow you to replace your standard GUI that most people
are used to, and are comfortable with, with that of Office 2007 ... possibly the most
cluttered, ill-conceived and fugliest GUI ever made, in the history of graphical apps.

  10. Comment - Latest Winamp adds access to CBS Radio stations

    1.02 (Jul 17, 2008 - 6:42 PM)

    "Who still uses Winamp?"

Pah! I still use Sonique v1.96 for listening to music on my PC!
