5.0.6 (Mar 19, 2004)
I understand what Xort is trying to accomplish with this app, which seems to change interfaces with every major release. However, I think it would be 100% more useful if the end user could customize the menus and their order. The placement of the programs isn't alphabetical, and seems completely helter-skelter. With this type of arrangement, it's in as much disarray as the placement of the programs in Windows itself.
I've toyed with this app from version 1 but always wind up uninstalling it in the end. :(
I give it a 3 for effort.
5.0 (Sep 18, 2003)
NOW EVEN LESS PRODUCTIVE! This is simply unacceptable.
They even removed the Tray Icon option! I use that because I use CursorXP and need quick access to the Mouse properties. Sure they can rush it out for the new models, but damn, they stripped it bare.
I too have reverted to 4.12, which was the most recent version before this embarrasment.
2.0.14 Beta 2 (Jul 9, 2003)
Well with such reviews as seen below, I don't even have to install it to know it's going to be a big letdown. Especially since you apparently need to buy something else to make this half-cooked app work. Might I suggest something better that has been free and open source for a few years now: http://bttb.sourceforge.net/ Burn To The Brim. Enjoy :)
0.7.829 Beta (Apr 5, 2003)
You can ditch Netcaptor, Avant Browser, and every other IE hack you can name... this is hands-down the best ever. It's been stable since even the .4 betas, which is a statement in itself. But the mouse gestures, the flexible nature of the layout... by golly, I'd pay for this. And yet it's free as can be. Do yourself a favor and download MyIE2 right now.
3.0 Beta 7 (Mar 29, 2003)
Yikes, this is the 3.0 release of this hardly-there program? And it costs? URLBase 4.0 and now 5.0 are free and actually have menus with Options. Far superior for no cash.
