  1. Review - MWSnap

    3.00.0.74 (Dec 17, 2007)

Looks like it has some nice features, but the fact that it doesn't work with my dual monitor system makes it unusable for me.

  2. Review - Diff Commander

    1.0 Beta Preview Build 0016 (Apr 18, 2005)

Every time I try to do Synchronize, it says that this feature is not available in the Demo version. How's that demonstrating its capabilities?

  3. Review - GeoShell

    4.9.2 (Nov 8, 2002)

I've used it for quite a long time and it has always been rock solid.

  4. Comment - New UI Font Coming to Vista, Office 12

    4.9.2 (Nov 23, 2005 - 3:59 PM)

One thing that really sucks about Office is the amount of unnecessary widgets they use that are not consistent with the rest of the OS. Why can't they just use the general toolbar, menu and other OS widgets? Same goes for fonts. Why not use the system font that the rest of the OS uses?

  5. Comment - eBay CEO: Free Phone Calls by 2010

    4.9.2 (Oct 20, 2005 - 2:48 PM)

Does anyone remember free internet? That's what will happen to VoIP market that tries to subsidize through ads. It will explode and then eventually die down, because everyone knows almost anything that's free comes with little or no customer service and that's important to people.

  6. Comment - Microsoft 'Acrylic' Takes On Photoshop

    4.9.2 (Jun 10, 2005 - 2:23 PM)

Nothing. It's the Adobe Reader that's a bit slow, but after you do the trick with the plugins that are unnecessary, it works pretty well.

  7. Comment - Real: We Will Revolutionize Digital Music

    4.9.2 (Apr 14, 2005 - 2:46 PM)

Agreed, plus all the junk they usually include with their players is horrible. Install Real and you have 2-3 other programs running in the background consuming resources while doing nothing useful.

  8. Comment - Criticism Flies After MS Flaw Disclosure

    4.9.2 (Apr 14, 2005 - 2:44 PM)

And what if the company takes 2 years to fix that flaw, should you wait that long to announce the security issue? I agree that 24 hours is not enough time to wait for a response, maybe a week, and then if there is not response, go for it and make it public. If the company responds, and says "Hey, wait, we're working on it and we will keep you updated" then that's reasonable to wait even longer, but clearly that was not the case.
