1.0.0.64 Beta (Aug 24, 2005)
Excellent! I love the clean look and feel. And I just found out that it can be docked into the new Google Desktop 2 Sidebar. Very nice! Kudos to Google!

I don't really care about PageRank, but to me, AutoLink is the key feature that made me choose the official Google Toolbar over the Googlebar. Plus, I think the official Google Toolbar seems a bit more polished. But hats off to the Googlebar team, they did a wonderful job filling the void and I'm sure they will continue doing a wonderful job providing users an alternate toolbar. Choice is a wonderful thing.
2.0 Beta (Apr 21, 2005)
I have been using Private Shell 2.0 Beta for about a week now and I have found it to be an excellent low-cost (compared to most SSH software) alternative to PuTTY. (I can't use PuTTY because it locks up my Netgear wireless router) It is the only SSH client I have found (besides PuTTY) to emulate all keyboard commands (including Ins, Del, PgUp, PgDn, etc.) correctly. Plus, it has a graphical SFTP interface and easy-to-use configuration wizard for newbies.

What are these guys thinking? Do they think no one will notice their product is just a re-branded FileZilla. Get the real thing for free: http://fileforum.betanew.../FileZilla/1034751598/1

The mouse isn't touch sensitive. You can rest your fingers on the mouse just as you always have. The outer shell depresses and clicks just like their single button mice. The sensors in this new mouse just detect if you depressed the right or left sides.

From the link your referenced: "...Mighty Mouse is also compatible with PCs. Mighty Mouse uses the standard, multibutton mouse driver included in the Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems..."
Which seems to me that the side buttons would be just as programmable as say a Logitech mouse with 3rd and 4th buttons.
When they say "programmability requires Mac OS X v10.4.2 Tiger or later" I think they are specifically referring to the ability to "activate Exposé, display Dashboard, open Spotlight, switch applications or open applications." from within Mac OS.

I don't think the right and left touch sensors are visable, as they are under the "seamless enclosure." I think what you're seeing is the side buttons.

I sure hope this is true. Like many others, I have had a horrible experience with PayPal and would love to have a well-known and trusted(?) alternative for accepting and sending payments online.
