So far, I've had no problems running Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.1.8.8000. It's on about 1400 PC's at work and we have ZERO issues regarding Conficker (Conflicker). Funny thing is that SEP 11 (Symantec Endpoint Protection) seems to catch less than the older version 10.1 does. :-)
In fact, thankfully since the Anna Kournikova virus and the Melissa virus we have seen nothing.
We have a few issues here and there with AV2009 and AV360 but it's fixable.

I cannot stand how the new layout looks. It's funny too because the Layout Vote that they put up showed over 1 million people hated the new layout and only about 80,000 people liked the new one.
They should change it back. Due to this newer layout, I visit less as do a bunch of other friends I know, which cannot be good for Facebook. Considering that a overwhelming majority hate the new layout I can't believe they still keep it.

I think Mozilla Firefox will remain a competitor and/or a lead browser in the future. If only because people like the extensions. I love Google Chrome but I need to find a good ad blocker for it. If IE8 allows for an ad blocking "add-on" it will gain ground against Firefox I think. Even though my preliminary use and testing (minimal) has shown IE8 as slow when compared to IE7 and Firefox 3.0.7.

I've been running Windows 7 Beta for 35 or so days now with no problems. It includes a beta version of IE8 and it runs great. I've had no problems with it.
However, downloading the final released version of IE8 from Microsoft and installing it at home on a Windows XP Pro box produced problems. For whatever reason it launches iexplore.exe twice. I think IE7 may do this too but I cannot remember. Also it's noticeably slower than IE7 is. I ended up removing IE8 and reverting back to IE7 on my home PC. Firefox is my main browser anyway but the wife likes to use IE7 and didn't like IE8 after about 30 minutes of use.
