  1. Review - Google Talk

    1.0.0.64 Beta (Aug 23, 2005)

Ok - needs more basic features (file transfer, multiple font support, buddy icons).

  2. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    5.093 (Jun 16, 2005)

Winamp's still great. Even for those of you who want a minimal installation, you can go w/that and ignore the fancy skins, media player, video player, etc. I like those features though, so I use 'em

    ^_^

  3. Review - DVD43

    3.5.3 (Jun 9, 2005)

Probably just appearing because DVD Decrypter is no logner "officially" available. This program is a worthy sucessor, though I think I'll still use DVD Decrypter.

  4. Review - Soulseek

    157 test 3 (Jun 8, 2005)

Soulseek rocks, but this 157 test 3 is crap.

  5. Review - FileZilla v3 for Windows

    2.2.12b (Mar 16, 2005)

What's wrong with the FileZilla GUI? Looks fine to me.

Anyway, very functional, easy to use, and feature-full. I used to use WS_FTP LE, but that didn't even allow for users to change file permissions. FileZilla does.

  6. Comment - Google Mapping San Francisco in 3D

    2.2.12b (Jun 12, 2005 - 7:30 AM)

Why would a terrorist want a detailed 3D map? All they need to know is the big tourist spots, and a regular map you can buy at a convenience store.

Racial crime in Orkut? WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

  8. Comment - Microsoft Reveals Xbox 360 Specs

    2.2.12b (May 13, 2005 - 8:49 AM)

Consoles are more easily programmed because there's only one set of hardware you have to make sure the system is compatible with. That's not changing.

  9. Comment - Google App Speeds Up Web Surfing

    2.2.12b (May 5, 2005 - 8:01 AM)

Who cares if Google sees what sites you're browsing? Does anyone here actually think the internet is a safe haven for privacy?

  10. Comment - Gates Touts Xbox as Entertainment Hub

    2.2.12b (May 3, 2005 - 5:05 PM)

A lot of new games are being geared for Xbox 360... Morrowind IV, NFSU3, etc...

Also - this machine is running a PowerPC chip (similar to what Apple uses), so MS would need to adapt their OS to run on that processor architecture. It would essentially be Windows for a Mac processor.
