7.50 Beta 2 (Apr 30, 2009)
Can't believe how some people give low rating to certain piece of software just because they like other piece of software better. For me it's just a sign of stupidity. When that another program you prefer is being reviewed, you can rate it as high as you want, but any program should be rated considering its pros and cons rather than your personal preferences.

Works fine but not a freeware as posted but shareware. 1 for misleading.

It's a good program, however, it's not a freeware. Statement on Betanews site says: "Freeware; $39.95 to buy" which is completely meaningless. 1 for misadvertising.

To VictorAnderson:
Please try not to post stupid comments. QIP DOES NOT send any information to some "THEIR servers" - it only logs in to official ICQ servers. It's not offshore and fly-by-night also. The only truth in your post is that it's Russian - so what?
Anyway, QIP is a pretty good ICQ clone which gives you some information about your counterparts, such as IP address and has useful antispam and antiflood protection. It's also bold and simple so whoever got tired with overloaded native ICQ client will be pleased to use it.
The only reason I give it 3 is that the author in his arrogance thinks that ICQ and AIM are the only exisiting chat protocols and doesn't bother with interoperability with MSN, Yahoo, etc.

What are you talking about? Which multitrack studio is friendlier as this? Try to learn Cubase...
This is a great piece of software. It already has all the necessary features (ASIO, VST, DX support), fast, reliable, and yes - user friendly. And it's constantly improving. What else would you need from a freeware program? Great job!
