  1. Review - FastStone Image Viewer

    2.0.5 Beta (Apr 21, 2005)

Still using ACDSee v3.1 Build 921 here . . but I'm willing to give this prog a try and see what it's like. Screenshot looks like an updated ACDSee anyway.

  2. Review - nLite

    0.99.9 Beta (Apr 14, 2005)

Just what I've been looking for.
Thanks "Jeremy of Many" for pointing me to the homepage for alternative runtimes.

  3. Review - 1st Biorhythm

    3.2.2 (Mar 26, 2005)

And they want me to pay for this???
I had the code to write a program like this for my old Commodore 64 . . shouldn't be hard to rewrite it for Windows.

  4. Review - Mailcleaning

    1.0.141 Beta (Mar 25, 2005)

What's this idea of "Beta Beta" anyway??
Come on guys, stop making it up as you go along.
Before Beta is Alpha . . . use it!!

  5. Comment - 3 out of 4 Registered for Do-Not-Call

    1.0.141 Beta (Jan 13, 2006 - 12:35 PM)

Both my phone numbers are unlisted and I use a post box for my mail. Never had a problem :-)

  6. Comment - Symantec Found Using Rootkit Feature

    1.0.141 Beta (Jan 11, 2006 - 11:00 PM)

I'm afraid I agree totally with Orbitration.
Symantec doesn't have much credibility with me either. I still have copies of my Norton Utilities from the DOS days . . still very effective for use in certain situations.

I've known about the NProtect folder for quite some time. Quite visible from Linux.

  7. Comment - Study: Spyware Profiting Off Google Ads

    1.0.141 Beta (Jun 9, 2005 - 8:38 PM)

Try a google for Spybot Search & Destroy then.
The advert on the right of the page is word for word what you just searched for . . but it has nothing what-so-ever to do with the popular (and safe) program from Patrick M. Kolla.

  8. Comment - TigerDirect Sues Apple Over New OS

    1.0.141 Beta (Apr 28, 2005 - 6:55 PM)

....and how long have we all been reading about Apple's new release? TigerDirect have had more than enough time to air their concerns.
Why have they waited until the 11th hour?
