Death To Apple! Long Live Android!

Android will win the cell phone war because it can be installed on numerous vendors hardware, which is the same things that happened with DOS and Windows. iPhone is closed proprietary hardware: no 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack, no micro SD flash, no micro USB, no swappable battery.

  3. Comment - Some analog TV stations have already thrown the switch

    4.0 (Feb 17, 2009 - 7:23 PM)

Tv stations had commercials about the conversion over a year, which is more than enough time. You could delay it another 10 years, and there would still be many losers that still wouldn't get off their fat a** to convert. The only thing that will motivate some people is when they finally lose their tv picture.

It is well known that Seagate had problems with the firmware on their 1.5TB drives. There is still very little information about this issue on the Seagate web site. Why won't Seagate admit their problem on their web site?

Why aren't there any multi-function ExpressCards, like 1Gbit-Ethernet + eSATA, or eSATA + USB2.0 + Encrypted Flash Drive, eSATA + Sound Card + Flash Drive, or ....

After USB 3.0 is released, I expect to see ExpressCards to support USB 3.0, but please add some additional multi-function capabilities!
