   I came close to giving this great little program a 5 - it works as advertised, it's fast and is quite simple even for newbs (for whom I downloaded it for and schooled in its use) - if the author opts to throw in a couple of enhancements in later version that are alluded to in his forum - it'll be a 5 soon.

   I agree - paper ballots are the only way at this point the American public can trust that their vote will count towards the candidates of their choice.
   
   I don't trust Diebold for a second.

4. Comment - Motorola Pays $3.9 Billion for Symbol

   I'm not sure how I feel about this buyout - we use and spec Symbols' rugged handhelds for our customers and some of those customers are not Motorola fans. Motorola has long been the 800 lb gorilla in the public safety sector and this only adds additional weight to their presence.

5. Comment - Firm Settles Spyware Suit for $7.5m

   I work for a company that provides a database system for small university police departments - spyware/malware/adware is rampant at all departments, effectively slowing down users systems and we always get blamed for it...I have to agree, someone needs to develop ONE definative program that will wipe this crud off of a machine (without a reformat) and offer some type of process monitoring tools to prevent re-infection...
   
   why haven't we seen any class-action lawsuits on this yet?
