10.01 Build 1844 Final (Oct 27, 2009)
A great browser which deserve more attention! Efficient engine, complete product without bloat, secure and fast...
I only miss Firefox adblock features (it has a blocker, but not predefined rules=not enough). Still, you can download a list if you surf enough...
Edit: NMS04, you are damn right, that was what I was talking about, thanks!
Anomoly, please read again my review, I know about the block feature, but a predefined list (http://fileforum.betanew...-For-Opera/1252663378/1 as M;S04 suggest) is a must. Fortunately I am not the only one who think that way :)
9.10 (Oct 5, 2009)
Good software, it detects and provide links to download latest drivers. Drivers linked for the computers I tested were recognized correctly.
Pkshadow, I bet the abit board you own has an intel chipset, abit does not build their own chipsets. Before write a review you should check your information before ranting for no reason...
1.0.1611.0 (Sep 30, 2009)
Resourse hog, unreliable (nothing new coming from M$) and spyware coming from Microsoft... Even if you do not "do anything wrong" I seriously recommend to stay away from it. It will send your data to MS in background, no way! Privacy is first.
Spyware used to come from obscure small companies wanting fast profit, but a company like Microsoft releasing such crap, that is terrible
Shame you cannot rate less than 1... My -1 for it
2.1.3 (Sep 18, 2009)
The best codec pack for x64, just sad because the only player available is the worst one. Anyway, you can use Win7/Vista codecs from Shark7 and a decent player (kmplayer, zoomplayer, etc) on x64, the choice is yours.
Forget about user reviews which do not know what they are writing about (cough, cough). This is the best codec pack available and Shark7 update it regulary, which make it even better...
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Sep 7, 2009)
Thank you mms04, the ad blocker was the only thing that kept me using FF. Unfortunately FF latest builds are not good for me, I love opera but could not use it without adblock-like (I do not want to manually block every ad I see) and a small spell checker (added some time ago). Now Opera rules again!
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Nov 6, 2009 - 9:04 AM)
Ha! Nokia has 37.9 market share, but the article title is "Blackberry shipments grew... faster than iPhone".
Joe, are you bending the stats? Manipulate (the statistics) is a bad thing... What is next? Would you cut the graph to show the second as first?
If you have good will, please be careful...
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Oct 27, 2009 - 10:40 AM)
Ahh, Betanews and their viewpoints.... Every day deeper, even worse than before....
Nokia make the best smartphones today. The rest is blah blah. Apple made a good move three years ago, but Nokia is the leader over RIM, over MS and of course, over Apple.
The only place in the world were Nokia is not leading is in the US, where marketing pushed the market over value.
Instead of choose to develop and make better products, the rules in the US make the companies to push anything they have with marketing, they are able to sell a expensive bad product instead of a good one spending all the money in... marketing (no names here, pick your preferred). unfortunately this is not new or just for IT, everything seems to move that way...
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Oct 26, 2009 - 4:12 PM)
I would like to take a look at the format, in order to show it as example and avoid to program so bad, so many times...
At least MS is learning: Open is better
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Oct 22, 2009 - 2:50 PM)
I did artfuldodga, but comparing the technology to Facebook (or even myspace) I think twiter does not have a chance. Still, the media talk about it all the time.
Anyone is able to receive updates from facebook trough smss, which also offer better services. What is the point with twiter?
10.10 Build 1767 Beta (Oct 22, 2009 - 11:22 AM)
Wow, all the hype about twiter... I cannot understand, it is the most primitive and limited social network available and still, all media is inflating it all the time... Why it that?
What did I miss?
