luvwknd98 - Perhaps you should care what Apple thinks. They do own hollywood you know. They may not be in your enterprise... but in the enterprises they exist in: Microsoft doesn't. Lets see who else does apple have influence over... oh yes. Disney.

  2. Comment - Mono, the open source .NET counterpart, releases 2.0

Mono means monkey. It is MO NO not MON NO. Geesh.

  3. Comment - .NET Framework 4.0 to become less SOAP-centric, embrace REST

    (Oct 1, 2008 - 9:57 PM)

You don't have multiple versions of the .Net Framework. You have additions to the 2.0 Framework.

2.0 is the Framework. 3.0 just adds a few more dlls to the 2.0 Framework. 3.5 adds 4 more dlls to the 3.0 Framework. So think of 3.0 and 3.5 as expansion packs not full frameworks.

  4. Comment - Creator of banned iPhone app goes his own route

    (Sep 16, 2008 - 11:29 AM)

Actually no. I OWN MY IPHONE. My iPhone is not licensed, it is purchased and owned by me. Under the law, Apple has no rights to prohibit or stop me from using the device as I SEE FIT.

  5. Comment - One million iPhone 3Gs sold? Not yet, says analyst

ATT corporate customers did not purchase at the stores. We had to go through the CRU channel and have them shipped from a special warehouse. Our company purchased iPhones for each employee and I know of another company that purchased 150 more than we did.

The CRU warehouse ran our of iPhones 2x. The first batch was gone by Friday noon and the second batch was gone Monday. We are still in line waiting for our phones when another shipment from Apple comes in and we purchased on Friday at 9am.

Calling the stores only gets you the count of phones soled to individual owned accounts.
