  1. Review - Skype for Windows

    3.1.0.134 Beta (Mar 7, 2007)

I haven't really used Skype for the last 6 months or so. Not just because they go around collecting hardware info but their voice quality became really poor.

If a replacement is needed for skype, Project Gizmo's the one. Gizmo kicks Skype's @SS around the block. Gizmo isn't bloated, it doesn't have spyware and it just works. (5 stars for Gizmo)

  2. Review - iTunes for Windows

    6.0.5 (Jun 29, 2006)

Itunes for windows sux big time. Winamp's media library kicks itunes a** and so does mediamonkey. But I guess mac users are use to mediocrity. (sorry macheads but I just couldn't resist)heheh ;-)

  3. Review - Winamp 5 Full

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Jun 6, 2006)

The only MP3 player I've ever used. I still can't find any other program to even compete with Winamp. I'm surprised that AOL hasn't completely destroyed Winamp like they did with other software like ICQ.

    Winamp Rocks!!!

  4. Comment - Steve Jobs recovers from liver transplant

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Jun 21, 2009 - 10:53 PM)

Dude, with all the hardcore Apple fanboys out there it wouldn't surprise me if one of them traded a liver for a iPhone G3 S:-) LOL

  5. Comment - Region woes hose Obama gift to UK prime minister

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Mar 24, 2009 - 2:11 PM)

Could have been worse, the DVD's could have been pirated!
Now that would have been embarrassing.

  6. Comment - Microsoft silent on whether version 8 will be the last Internet Explorer

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Mar 12, 2009 - 8:58 PM)

I really hope this isn't the end for IE.
How else am I going to download FF after a clean Install!

  7. Comment - Vista SP2 update sent to testers, but is it really an RC?

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Feb 22, 2009 - 7:50 PM)

You forget that Linux is free!
So if there are any shortcomings most people will put up with it.
And since Linux is open source, with just a little tweaking Linux can automatically login to a network at startup.

But in my opinion these are basic functions of a OS and should not be restricted. If that's case you can say that networking shouldn't be allowed on any basic or home versions of a OS.

  8. Comment - Vista SP2 update sent to testers, but is it really an RC?

    5.23 Build 666 Beta (Feb 22, 2009 - 3:38 PM)

M$ always calls their Phuck-ups features.
Just like pressing ESC and getting access to the computer was a feature in Windows 95/98.
If it's a feature, why put the save password check box that doesn't work?
That's why many people are going for Macs and Linux.
